Tan Cang Pilot: Activities to Commemorate 76 Years of Invalids and Martyrs Day (27/7/1947 - 27/7/2023)

Based on the Plan No. 2092/KH-TCg dated July 8, 2023, of Saigon Tan Cang Corporation regarding the organization of activities to commemorate the 76th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs Day (27/7/1947 - 27/7/2023); Implementing the Resolution for the last 6 months of 2023 of the Party Committee of Tan Cang Pilot and based on the actual situation of the unit. In practical celebration of the 76th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, Tan Cang Pilot, with its core being three Mass Organizations, actively organized meaningful and practical activities to continue to promote the "Gratitude-Responsibility" movement, demonstrating the principles of "Remembering the Source When Drinking Water" and "Being Grateful to Those Who Planted Trees," and upholding the deep humanitarian nature and the "solidarity" tradition of QCSG in general and Tan Cang Pilot.

On July 25, 2023, representing the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Tan Cang Pilot, Colonel Hoang Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the company, led a working delegation consisting of 14 comrades, including officials and workers, and three Mass Organizations representing 193 officials and workers in the company to march to Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province. The delegation met and coordinated with the district leadership and 6 communes in the district to carry out a series of activities such as: Visiting and giving gifts to 05 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers who were being taken care of by the unit; Offering incense to 07 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers who had passed away; Providing material support for social policy work in 06 communes (Tam Phuoc, Tan Thach, Phuoc Thanh, Phu An Hoa, Quoi Son, Thanh Trieu).

Also on this occasion, the company supported Tam Phuoc commune, Chau Thanh district, with 100 million VND for rural transportation construction in the area, participated in the inauguration of a rural road, and was honored to receive a commendation certificate for the company's social welfare work from Ben Tre province.

Especially, on the afternoon of July 26, 2023, at two locations in Sai Gon and Vung Tau, representing the Party Committee, Colonel Nguyen Van Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the company, met, encouraged, and gave gifts and condolences to 03 comrades who are relatives of martyrs and 21 veterans and 07 disabled veterans working in the company. At the same time, the Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the company, also sent condolences to the families of comrades who are children of martyrs, war veterans, and emphasized deep gratitude for those who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification. This especially applies to the sacrifices of fathers and brothers of comrades who are officers and employees in the company, which contributed to the peaceful and prosperous life the country enjoys today.
 

The Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the company, reminded comrades who are children of martyrs, war veterans, and disabled veterans to always remember and uphold the revolutionary tradition of their families, demonstrated through concrete and practical actions, especially actively fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, living responsibly towards their families, society, and the unit.

Expressing their deep gratitude for the attention of the Party Committee and the company's leadership, comrades who are the children of martyrs, war veterans, and disabled veterans sincerely promised to uphold and promote their family's tradition, make every effort in their work, comply with regulations, excel in their assigned tasks, and contribute to building a "Comprehensive Strength" unit, a "Clean and Strong Party Committee," and sustainable business development.

The meeting took place in a warm and meaningful atmosphere, showing the deep concern and gratitude of the Party Committee and the Company's Board of Directors for the workers, who are the main beneficiaries of social policies.
