Tan Cang Pilot organizes friendly football tournament with internal and external units

This event provided an opportunity for the young generation of Tan Cang Pilot, the Advisory Department of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), and Le Van Thinh Hospital in Thu Duc City to revisit the history of the successful August Revolution in 1945. This was the first glorious victory of our people under the leadership of the Party, marking a significant turning point in the history of the Vietnamese nation. With the power in the hands of the people, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born – the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. It put an end to the feudal monarchies in Vietnam, ending more than 80 years of colonization and imperial oppression. The Vietnamese people went from being slaves to becoming citizens of an independent, self-governing nation. Vietnam transformed from a semi-feudal colonial state into an independent, free, and democratic country. The Communist Party of Vietnam came into power. From here, the nation, society, the people, and the Vietnamese people entered a new era, an era of national independence closely associated with socialism.

The football tournament was attended and directed by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Dung - Party Committee Member, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Tan Cang Pilot, and Senior Colonel Dau Ngoc Long - Deputy Chief of Staff, the Advisory Department of SNP. With dedication and deep concern, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Dung spoke, shared words of encouragement, and motivated all participating teams. He delivered the opening speech and recited a speech commemorating the 78th Anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2). All teams and spectators listened attentively and comprehended the speech. The tournament took place in a lively, thrilling, and enthusiastic atmosphere as it welcomed the competitive men's football tournament, with a significant scale and careful preparation. The goal was to promote the physical fitness movement, improve health, and perform well in the assigned tasks, while creating opportunities for exchange, learning, and strengthening the relationship between Tan Cang Pilot and internal and external units: Tan Cang Pilot, the Advisory Department of SNP, and Le Van Thinh Hospital.

The participating teams competed in a round-robin point system. The tournament was conducted in a lively, competitive, and enthusiastic atmosphere, creating unforgettable moments and emotions, reflecting the spirit of genuine sportsmanship. The results saw the first prize awarded to Le Van Thinh Hospital Team, the second prize to the Staff Office of SNP Team, and the third prize to Tan Cang Pilot Team.

The Mini Football Tournament commemorating the 78th Anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023) concluded with excellent and profound results in the hearts of every player and supporter. It continues to strengthen the sense of unity, exchange, learning, and mutual assistance in daily activities, studies, and the fulfillment of assigned tasks. The Tan Cang Pilot's Local Trade Union Executive Committee sincerely thanks the leadership and close guidance of the Party Committee, Board of Directors of Tan Cang Pilot, the leadership of the commanding units and departments within Tan Cang Pilot, and the enthusiastic participation of athletes and fans who helped make the tournament a great success.
