Tan Cang Pilot's Customer Conference 2018

On August 16, 2018, Tan Cang Pilot held the Customer Conference at Tan Cang tourist area.

On August 16, 2018, Tan Cang Pilot organized a prestigious Customer Conference at the Tan Cang Tourist Area. The event was attended by esteemed figures such as Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Director of  Maritime Administration of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Bui The Hung, CEO of Vietnam Maritime Safety Assurance Corporation, Mr. Pham Huy Toan, Deputy Director of Southern Maritime Administration, Mr. Nguyen Viet Trong, Director of Maritime Administration of Dong Nai, and Mr. Ho Duc Loc, Deputy Director of Maritime Administration of Vung Tau City. Colonel Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy CEO of Saigon Newport Corporation and Chairman of Tan Cang Pilot represented the corporation.

Amid a lively and jubilant atmosphere, the conference commemorated Vietnam's 73rd National Day and the remarkable 10-year journey of Tan Cang Pilot from October 27, 2008, to October 27, 2018. This event provided a platform for Tan Cang Pilot to reflect on its accomplishments, triumphs over challenges, collaborative ventures with valued customers, and future prospects.

Tan Cang Pilot's journey began with a single qualified pilot and the need to lease facilities. Over the years, it has grown into a force of over 50 experienced pilots, most of whom are top experts. The company boasts modern equipment, infrastructure, and specialized transport vehicles. The annual average vessel traffic has exceeded 7,000 vessels, with many exceeding 100,000 tons in tonnage. The annual growth rate consistently surpasses 20%, ensuring Tan Cang Pilot's ability to provide maritime pilot services on eight designated routes and effectively guide military vessels for national defense missions. These achievements would not have been possible without the contributions of government agencies, organizations, and, most significantly, our valued customers.

During the conference, shipping line representatives engaged in candid discussions with Tan Cang Pilot's Management Board on topics such as maritime safety, security, nighttime vessel operations, and service rates.

Tan Cang Pilot expressed heartfelt gratitude to the government, government agencies, and organizations that have consistently supported and assisted the company throughout its remarkable journey. A special acknowledgment was extended to shipping companies and agencies for their trust in Tan Cang Pilot to lead their vessels in and out of ports and oversee their operations at ports managed by Saigon Newport Corporation.
