Inauguration of Tan Cang Pilot and Year-End Celebration of Saigon Newport Corporation

Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) organized a grand event, marking the inauguration of Tan Cang Pilot. This significant milestone signified a new era of enhanced operational efficiency and an elevated service quality for shipping companies relying on SNP's services.
On December 12, 2008, the first Saigon Newport Golf Friendship Tournament took place at Long Thanh, coinciding with the launch of Tan Cang Pilot and a memorable year-end celebration. The golf tournament welcomed 31 representatives, including CEOs, senior executives, and delegates from various shipping companies and their agencies in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament featured three categories A, B, and C and was filled with excitement from 11:00 to 17:15.
The results revealed that Mr. Taylor Lee, CEO of Hyundai Merchant Marine Vietnam, secured the prestigious Gross Champion Ship title. Notable winners in different categories included Mr. Jeff Lo (CEO of Wanhai Shipping Lines), Mr. Wilson Yeh (CEO of Evergreen Vietnam), and Mr. Hoang Trong Khanh, Deputy CEO of KMTC Vietnam.
In addition to the golf tournament, the inauguration of Tan Cang Pilot and the year-end celebration drew 96 distinguished guests, including representatives from shipping companies, maritime authorities, and various government agencies. The event expressed heartfelt gratitude from SNP to shipping companies for their unwavering collaboration and support, even during the challenging year of 2008.
Mr. Jeff Lo, representing the shipping companies, pledged full support for SNP and its subsidiary, Tan Cang Pilot.
