Tan Cang Pilot's Communist Youth Union members visit the Central Base of the Southern Bureau

On April 22, Tan Cang Pilot’s grassroots Youth Union organized a field trip to the Central Base of the Southern Bureau (the Central Base Relic of the Southern Department D Base - Secret base area, where the armed forces of the Southeast region were born during the war against the French and Americans) in Ma Da, Vinh Cuu district , Dongnai province. This initiative was part of the nationwide celebration to commemorate the 48th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the nation (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023). Additionally, it was part of the series of activities marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Tan Cang Pilot (October 27, 2008 - October 27, 2023).

At the Memorial Monument of the Central Base of the Southern Bureau, in front of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs, the participants offered flowers and incense to express their deep respect for the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the homeland. The young members of Tan Cang Pilot's Youth Union pledged to continuously strive for self-improvement, to uphold the values of "clear conscience, pure heart, and intelligence", and to be the "youthful and skilled" Youth Union members who continue the traditions of previous generations. They aim to fulfill the mission of being soldiers on the ideological, cultural, and economic fronts, closely tied to national defense. By doing so, they contribute significantly to the nation's construction and protection. The group also visited the Ma Da Martyrs Cemetery and toured an exhibition room showcasing historical artifacts.

During this visit, the Youth Union members also organized an extensive political and propaganda session, deepening the participants' understanding of the arduous life and fierce struggle of the heroes and martyrs in a region known for its motto, "The arduous Eastern land is heroic." This was during the period of the war against foreign invaders to safeguard the homeland. Through this, they further appreciated and took pride in the heroic legacy of their ancestors' struggle and contributed to nurturing a sense of patriotism among Youth Union members.

Additionally, a team-building activity was organized for the Youth Union members of Tan Cang Pilot. The Team-Building program is a cultural event designed to inspire and foster positive qualities among Youth Union members. This aims to raise awareness in education, labor, creativity, purposeful living, and ideals. It promotes being exemplary, proactive, fostering unity, and successfully fulfilling professional tasks in the near future.
